After our last report yesterday (Sunday) there were another series of earthquakes off shore between Nias and Padang. Padang is one of the towns we hope to visit later this week. The main quake measured 6.8. There is great fear of another tsunami. We find ourselves praying so diligently for these precious people that just keep getting shock after shock. It's hard to imagine how much suffering they must be going through. We're determined to get as close to the suffering people as possible and bring some relief. A cup of water in such a situation can go a long way toward letting these people know that Jesus loves them!!
In a few hours we'll be boarding an aircraft for Banda Aceh, the town that lost the most people in the December 26th tsunmai. Over 100,000 died in this city. We'll be going to the areas that have been absolutely flattened by the tsunami. We have reports that the survivors are determined to get back to their property, regardless of the situation. The need for water is great. We'll attempt to write from there. I've got to go for now. God Bless each and every one of you. Thanks for your prayer and support and love!!
